LA RIPOSTE is a testament to community resilience and perseverance against the COVID-19 pandemic and the hardships of life. Told through a dialogue between community leaders, health officials, scientists, and journalists, the film speaks about the importance of inclusion. Such a dialogue seldom happens but must take place.

An ordinary Burkinabe on a long walk from his village to a health centre takes us through the challenges facing his community and the health system of Burkina Faso, just like many other countries in Africa. Although national governments work closely with international partners to improve health services, it is this simple man's commitment that makes progress possible.

"Land of Many Waters" is a story of challenges and success when taking an action for a brighter future. Working on this documentary for the partnership between the European Commission and the World Health Organization inspired me to write the UNREGISTERED.
